Frozen banana x1
Shot espresso x1
Shot milk of choice x2
Scoop choc protein (25g)
Tbspn ground nuts of choice x1
Tsp chia seeds x1
Basically chuck all the ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth.
You want to use a frozen banana as it will give you a thicker consistency, just throw a few in the freezer so you can pull them out as needed. Best you peel and cut in quarter's before freezing! Save time in the morn by brewing the coffee the night before and letting it cool in the fridge. You can use any kind of milk for creaminess I chose almond milk in this one. In terms of the ground nuts I used a mix of almonds and walnuts that I have previously ground and keep in an airtight container. The nuts give the smoothtie a bit of volume as well as good sources of fat and protein.
